On the day of your appointment, I will perform a skin analysis to assess your skin type and specific needs. This allows me to tailor your treatment for the best possible results. If I determine that a different treatment would be better suited to your skin, I will discuss the options with you to ensure you receive the most effective care.

Personalised Home Skincare Plans

Alongside in-clinic treatments, I can create a bespoke home skincare plan tailored to your skin type and specific concerns. This will help you maintain and enhance your results from treatments in the comfort of your own home.

I carefully select high-quality, results-driven products at a mid-market price point - truly worth the investment for the active ingredients they contain. Your home routine will be designed to support your skin's health, hydration, and glow while fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Booking Policy

To secure your appointment, a non-refundable £20 deposit is required at the time of booking via my booking system. This will be deducted from your treatment price, with the remaining balance to be paid at the clinic.

  • Rescheduling: You may change your appointment up to 48 hours before your scheduled time free of charge.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: Your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book another date/time.

This policy ensures fairness and allows me to accommodate all clients effectively. Thank you for understanding!

Location & Parking Information

GLOW by Emily is a home-based business located at Ferry Court (Prospect Place), Cardiff. For privacy and security, my full address will be provided once a deposit has been paid. Please come alone when possible. If you are running late please let me know - should you be later than 15 minutes your appointment may be changed to a shorter treatment so to not over-run into my next appointment.

Visitor Parking:

  • There is visitor parking available at the premises, these are all marked with a 'V'.
  • During peak hours, please arrive 5 minutes early in case you need to wait for a visitor bay to become available.
  • Once parked, enter your registration in the ticket machine (free of charge) —this will provide you with up to 24 hours of free parking.
  • Please ensure your parking ticket is clearly displayed in your car window.

Pre-Treatment Advice

To ensure the best results from your treatment, please follow these guidelines:

  • No exfoliation for 3 days prior (7 days for chemical peels).
  • Avoid sunbathing/tanning beds for 3 days before (2 weeks for chemical peels).
  • No waxing, threading, or shaving up to 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Stop using benzoyl peroxide facial products 7 days prior.
  • Work out before your appointment, as exercise should be avoided for 6 hours to 2 days depending on the treatment.
  • Avoid dermal filler/Botox for 2 weeks before treatment.
  • No LED therapy (e.g., LED face masks, therapy panels) 2 weeks before microneedling & chemical peels.
  • Laser hair removal must have a 4-week gap before/after microneedling or chemical peels.
  • Indian head massage/Comb Gua Sha: If you have hair extensions, please let me know so I can work around them.
